Tastar de corda was devised in 1987 to explore the potential of plucked instruments. It is a festival held in the various churches of the Bassa Valle di Susa, of Avigliana and of Turin. Now in its 14th edition,the festival has come to include many different areas of music, with the participation of musicians specialised in traditional Irish music, flamenco and the Argentine tango.
