This is one of Turin's historical cake shops, and has been run by the family for three generations.
S.I.D.A. was founded in 1926, and specialises in typical Turin mignons, assorted pralines, and in sweet, but also savoury cakes. However, its true strong point is the "Bocon d'Or" (or "Golden Mouthful"), a cake made of almonds and hazelnuts which can be kept for a long time.
