The Neo-Baroque facade of Palazzo Ceriana can be seen on the right front of Piazza Solferino, one of the city's loveliest squares. Built in 1878, the palazzo was designed by Carlo Ceppi, a connoisseur of the tastes of the city's well-to-do. It was built for the Ceriana family of bankers and spinning mill owners to which Ceppi was related.
