It is said that at the beginning of the nineteenth century, a piedmontese invented a cocoa pastry making machine that mixed it with sugar and vanilla to solidify the chocolate, which up until then had only been known as a drink. This was how chocolate bars, single chocolates and easter eggs began to be produced. In 1865, the successful union of exotic cocoa and round hazelnuts, became Gianduja which took its name from the torinese mask and was the origins of chocolate production in the classic triangular shape, wrapped in golden or silver paper. Therefore, it is no coincidence that this torinese workshop, faithful to tradition, offers all kinds of gianduiotti to its clientele, including coffee flavours, mini ones called turinot, gianduia cream and easter eggs.
