This is the first, public, modern art collection and boasts around 15,000 works. The rooms within the building contain about 1000 works including paintings, sculptures, designs, engravings and photographs from a historic period which ranges from the nineteenth century to the avant-garde. From Italy there are works by Manzu, Fattori and Morandi.
